The legacy accreditation vendors do good work. Demand simply outgrew what two of them could handle.
The market needed a third option, built to move good independent and family owned pharmacies through quickly. They should be able to accept a card or run an ad online without waiting months behind everyone else.
It also needed a smarter approach. Rather than ask a pharmacy to recreate its record from scratch, we lean on the work the State Boards of Pharmacy already do every day. Board status and findings are what we verify first, and the foundation for everything else.
Pharmacies should not have to prove the same things over and over. It was time to rethink how this works.
