Annual Renewal

Pricing FAQ
How are multiple locations and websites priced?
Each physical pharmacy has its own application and review, managed from one organization dashboard. The fee is per independently reviewed website: one location starts at Standard Review, two or three locations are Special Review, and four or more require a negotiated enterprise quote. Locations covered by the same website fee do not each pay another full fee. Each domain is verified; only a verified same-operator direct redirect with no independent content, prescribing or checkout can share its destination website’s fee.
Do APC members get a discount?
Yes. APC Pharmacy Facility Members receive 20% off Standard Review ($1,348) and Special Review ($2,000), for both initial certification and renewal. Select APC membership at checkout and enter your issued member code. The 20% member discount replaces the 15% renewal discount; discounts never stack. Contact us if you need a code.
Can I request an expedited review?
You can request one when you apply or at checkout, with either service: tell us the date you need, and we confirm availability, timing and any additional fee before you pay. While a request is open, payment waits for our answer; you can withdraw it at any time and continue at your service's usual timing. A request is not a commitment until we confirm it. Expedited review does not change the evidence we require or guarantee certification.
What is Special Review?
Special Review is $2,500 for one reviewed website covering up to three locations. It applies to two or three locations, more than 250 distinct products and substantive pages, or verified circumstances requiring additional review, such as an active license condition, relevant pending litigation or an unresolved regulatory warning. Sterile compounding, telehealth, an ownership change or a past certifier decision alone does not set this price. We aim to establish your service during onboarding and honor the assigned Standard rate; material changes or inaccurate information may require reassessment.
Do I need to switch payment processors?
No. ScriptSafe certification works with any credit card processor. We ask which processor you use only so your compliance package reaches the right underwriting team. Which processors formally recognize ScriptSafe certification is a separate question, shown live on this site.
Is monitoring included in the certification fee?
Yes. Nightly monitoring is included for the first year of certification. Annual renewal includes continued monitoring.
How does ScriptSafe compare to other certification programs?
ScriptSafe standard certification is $1,685 annually, with a target review time of 7 to 10 business days after a complete application. Compare program scope, recognition, and all first-year fees when choosing a provider.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. The price shown is the full certification fee, and it covers all 152 compliance checks, the certificate, the processor compliance package, and Year 1 monitoring. $800 is earned when the compliance review begins. If we decline your pharmacy after review, we keep $800 for the compliance work performed and refund the rest. Remediation support is included at no additional charge.
What if my application is declined?
Your certification fee is collected when you submit your application, and our compliance team reviews your pharmacy whether or not it passes. If we decline you, $800 is non-refundable because that review work was already done; the remainder of your fee is refunded. We give you specific, actionable feedback on what needs to change, and many pharmacies resolve the issue and reapply successfully. Declines based on disqualifying history, such as DEA action or prior fraud, are not eligible to reapply.
